15/05/2011 Djibouti NPA for pollution from land based activities validated

PERSGA organized the workshop in collaboration with the Djibouti Ministry of Environment, the workshop was an opportunity for more than 30 stakeholders to gather to discuss and amend the document.
Dr. Dirar Nasr, a regional consultant supported by two national experts has prepared the draft document of the report.
After a long discussions, Mr. Dini Abdallah Omar, the director the environment has concluded the workshop declaring that Djibouti has validated its National Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marin Environment from Land-Based Activities.
Egypt, Sudan, Jordan and Yemen already validated their NPA.

 

The Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden
